I bloody loved Its A Sin. Glorious & heartbreaking. Incredible tribute to the community & surely opened many hearts & eyes to people that have suffered. Long live RtD! Thanks Terri X
This is lovely and I wholeheartedly agree with every word. Even my elderly dad knows RTD is a genius (Dr Who). I've watched and enjoyed so much of his work. But this, this was truly special. I'm building myself up to watch it again but it's going to take some emotional strength! Just beautiful. Thanks, Terri. X
Exceptional emotional investment in his writing, but this was the height of sobville. With the perfect balance of laughs! Well done for living through it repeatedly. I hope I make it through another one intact. X
A bonafide. I was working on Canal Street when QAF came out, and from the genius pun in the title, to the catchphrases ("I'm gonna do it, I am I'm gonna do it") to the music, its normalisation of something rarely seen on British TV was seismic. RTD lives in my heart forever anyway, for something that is private but beautiful.
Years & Years was not only brilliant and prescient but contained the single best monologue/acting performance I've seen for many many years.
He makes the world a better place, what else can anyone reasonably ask for? X
I think the thing that has always come across in RTDs work is his absolute love of TV as a medium; that he’s not chasing film, or American production. On a separate note as he seriously not been knighted yet?

I watched the entire thing for the fifth time in one sitting before I spoke to RTD and OOF, it got me more than ever x

Always such a clever and impressive guy!
The man is a genius! I watched it at first as our friend Pete is the director BUT then I fell under its spell. A terrific and important piece of work.
